5 out of 5 stars Great Homeowner's Tool   August 2, 2010
Just Anonymous (Georgia, USA)
If you're a homeowner that does home repair or light assembly jobs this is a great nailer to have. You can spend significantly more for a nailer.

FEW THINGS
- you do need an air compressor for this to work
- it will leave marks on your wood if you're not skilled so be careful (it's a skill)
- constructed well (but don't know if I'd use it commercially)
- doesn't jam much but it's a brad nailer so some jams are to be expected

Overall, it's a great product and for the money it's really hard to beat.

I like the tool but was disappointed that there were no insructions or parts list with this tool.I would expect some instructions and adress to contact if tool fails.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome for weekend projects!   July 13, 2010
Kevin Nicholls (Milford, MI)
I picked this up in a Lightning Deal, and I've been delighted with it.

I had planned on getting a cheapest-you-can-get-me nailer from Harbor Freight, and was apprehensive about paying even less money here. After a couple of nails though, my concerns totally disappeared.

Just recently, a friend of mine was over with his Porter Cable nailer, and we were working on a project at my house. Comparing side-by-side, it seemed like my WEN was driving nails much straighter, and without jamming. (In fairness, take that with a huge grain of salt -- mine was fresh from the box, his had seen years of service).

Would I want to go to a construction site with this? Probably not. But for putting a deck up, or projects of that scale, I can't see why you'd spend more money on something else.

5 out of 5 stars Great gun at a great price   July 4, 2010

I bought this gun for a project I am doing. Made sense rather than trying to rent one for the price. All I can say is it works very well and easy to use. Have not used it for heavy duty projects but I think it will serve the weekend warrior well.

5 out of 5 stars My first nail gun.   May 19, 2010

Saw this on a lighting deal for 20.00. I didnt even need a nail gun at the time, but bought it just cause it seemed like a good deal and I didnt own any nail guns at the time. I'm always buying tools when I see them for a good deal, cause I know someday I'll need them. Needless to say I had to do some trim work on two doors and a closet. For the price I am very happy with it. It shoots even the two inch brads into wood with no problem. Very handy for even bigger jobs. I have used to to just "tack" the lumber together then I come back with screw gun. For the ocassional use home owner its great, would buy one again. Now if I can just find a finish nailer for 20.00.
