Great Buy! July 4, 2010 aquamarine Great pair of Fiskars for the price. Performs excellent pruning, always love a Fiskar product!
Fiskars pruners rock! May 9, 2010 Curlie (Roseland, LA United States) I've had a pair of these for a while and needed another pair. They are very good and in it for the long haul!
Pruners October 1, 2009 Mary Lengyel These pruners are super. I had my last one for 10 years & they needed to be replaced. I do a lot of gardening & you can't go wrong with these.
Not for the small handed August 5, 2009 AverageGuyShopper 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The compound action on this pruner makes it really effective when cutting. It's easy to use on rose bushes and small pine branches. Just because the tree branch may fit within it's jaws, doesn't mean that you're going to be able to cut it easily, despite it's compound action (so, don't get overly zealous). It is pretty hefty for a pruner, but that is due to its heavy duty construction and materials. It appears well made and I hope that it'll last for many many years. I would not recommend this pruner for people with small hands because the grips/spacing is rather large and this pruner would be a lot less comfortable to use. As can be seen in the picture, there is a small switch to keep the pruner closed.
Not sharp for long June 16, 2009 Marsha Rice (San Francisco, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've hardly used it and already it's lost its sharpness, bending rather than cutting through stems. I am so disappointed. On the other hand, my friends pruned the apple and lemon trees, so maybe it did get a little bit of a workout, but still, I expected more longevity. I need a new and different pruner.
