One word; ERGONOMICS March 4, 2010 G. Metty (Oklahoma City) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
OK, It was fast, and it rolled evenly, but a couple of problems surfaced. You had to really feather the trigger to prevent splatter, and if you forgot, you had to stop for cleanup, especially on the ceiling. I had to go back to a conventional roller. I could load paint and roll a room in about 20 minutes, but trying to actually use it comfortably just wasn't happening. I am in pretty good shape and it wore me out. Also, don't buy the roller cleaner with this product. it doesn't work with the power roller, but does work great with a conventional roller

I have not used this yet but i do have a power roller and if this workes like the power roller it will be excellent.
Needs a longer roller extension August 12, 2009 A. Jones (Central Ca.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The roller itself works without a hitch. The lack of a longer extension for ceilings, and taller walls is a drag. After looking for a longer tube extension, found that the price for it was considerably more than the roller itself. Not!
Very impressive high pressure sprayer July 27, 2008 James T. Hammond (Upstate, NY) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This little machine really paints the project in a hurry. If you are looking to paint a large area, then the Paint Crew Sprayer is a Must Have item. I painted an eight by sixteen shed inside and out in a couple of hours. And, the coverage was terrific. An older building, raw lumber, and the high pressure sprayer did the job it would have taken days to complete with a brush, in a few hours, including cleanup. Because it is reconditioned, I paid the extra few dollars for the replacement warranty.
Love, Hate June 3, 2008 Crackers (Allentown, Pennsylvania) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
In a past review for the Wagner Paint Crew. I gave it 5 stars and a rave review. So I thought that the roller would be just as good. It did speed up the painting process, but trying to control the hose was a horror story. The nylon tubing is so inflexible it started to hurt my wrist trying to control it. After about 10 minutes I thought I made a mistake. I wasn't very happy. Every-time you get to a inner corner or a molding you have to flip the roller so the roller frame doesnt scrape. This is were you have to wrestle with the hose. I know Wagner sells a swivel fitting for the hose. I will buy it, as soon as I find one.
On the other hand, it did apply the paint nicely. And there was no paint spatter or dips on the floor or me.
One other thing, I didn't use the paint crew for some time. I cleaned it as per instructions. And put it away for more than a year. So I figured It was ready to paint with. I loaded the hopper with paint and switched it on, nothing! I had to dump the paint and disassemble it. Not a big deal when it is clean. But it is a mess when it is loaded with paint. The hopper valve was stuck shut. A slight squeeze and it was free. My advice is to disassemble it for a quick inspection after storage. It would have saved me an hour and a lot of clean up.
