I really like this nailer January 14, 2010 Lynn Breaux (New Iberia, LA United States) I like the way it feels in my hand, I like the way it drives the pins, I like the size of the hole it leaves. I have a bunch of nailers, but always wanted a pin nailer. I'm glad I bought this one. It countersinks just fine in the oak, maple, poplar and spanish cedar I've used it on. I think it's a pretty good value too.
works great, great value September 13, 2009 Ron Middaugh (Dover, NH USA) I bought this pin nailer primarily for pinning small bead moldings for a kitchen cabinet project. I have used 1/2",3/4" & 1" pins with this nailer, all have worked well with no issues. The pins are set with very little to no marring. A light sanding and it pretty much disappears. I'm very happy with this purchase and feel it is a very good value.
Should have bought this sooner July 27, 2009 Rick A. Friesen I have only used it a few times but I already wish I had purchased it sooner. For starters it's half the price of most pinners out there that you would be proud to spend your money on. This one holds up to 1 inch pins I think and that's all I'll need it for. Anything longer and I think you should be using a larger nail. The nails also hold really well too. They don't easily pull out and hold pieces in place very securely while the glue dries. Also, they won't split the wood like brad nailers. One small thing that I really like is the attached little plastic cap that you can cover the male air fitting with while it's not in use. This keeps the tool oil from dripping out and making a mess and keeps the insides clean. Just a smart little addition I wish my dewalt brad nailers had.
Nice pinner June 1, 2009 M. Campbell (California) Why did I wait so long to buy a pin nailer? This tool is very handy. I chose PC because of their reputation, Price, the top vent, narrow tip. The dual triggers,(safety + fire) is kind of funky but with time I'm sure I will get used to. It had no problem sinking 1 1/2" pins into oak, just below the surface. I'm liking it so far.
It does its job March 13, 2009 Ray Kim (Fremont, CA) It works fine. I had no jambs or any other problems. I like the compact size body and a little weight to it. However, the tip mars wood pretty bad. You need to be cafreful when you use it on rather soft wood. Grex comes with no mar tips, why PC can not?
