Agree, Batteries Worthless September 2, 2010 Larry Sederstrom I wish i would have seen all the e-mails before purchasing. I have a normal suburban lawn that takes about 15 minutes to trim. I bought mine the first of June and used it twice and it worked great. The third time the battery would not hold a charge for 15 seconds! I have tried everything - leaving it on the charger for 30 minutes, an hour, several hours, overnight. Nothing works.
Great product - crappy battery. I won't buy another expensive battery. Guess I will look for something different for next year.
Bad Battery September 1, 2010 kjm Purchaced my Trimmer July 10, 2010. Trimmer worked great except for the line feed had to be advanced by hand. I used it about 5 times until Aug 31, 2010 when the battery died - just flat out died. After reading all the bad battery reviews now, i will not waste any more money on another battery.
Very poor quality product. August 31, 2010 Alejandro Dever (Pittsburgh, PA) I bought a leafblower with a battery. The battery died in the 3 use of the Worx leafblower. The leafblower seems to be very good but useless without the extremely expensive battery, so that's money down the drain. I also have a trimmer, the battery seems to have worked better with this one, but its already dead after less than a year. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this product.
Worx battery August 29, 2010 Earnest B. Purdy 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Still doesn't hold any better of a charge then the other one I got w/my unit, but still saves me alot of time w/ two batteries.
Batteries that don't last. August 27, 2010 JJ I'm on my 5th battery since February. They seem to die in the heat of summer although I had one that was bad out of the box. I don't recommend them.
